Mobile Ecommerce
While working for AT&T Mobility I worked on a project for a laboratory supply and biotechnology company that provided products and services to the global scientific research and United States clinical laboratory markets. We consulted them on how they could create a mobile experience for their customers. Due to Non-disclosure Agreements (NDA) I’ve changed the name of the client on all documentation. This application allows users to search and purchase products from their catalog.
Challenges
The challenge was to create a mobile application that kept all the benefits of the desktop and gracefully displayed complex scientific products that are available in multiple sizes and measures.
Based on “Voice of Customer” interviews conducted by the customer and Stakeholder interviews conducted by my team. We based our understanding of user needs to inform how we handle filtering and sorting and features such as the ability to create “Hot Lists” for a quicker purchase experience.
